Whether you want to play AAA games that are as big as they come or some charming indies as small as a mouse, Xbox is closing out 2026 with a bunch of great games aside from the uh obvious one. So, here's the full rundown. And just in case you missed it, we should start by mentioning that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is out now. Modern Warfare 4 brings the story into dangerous new territory, introducing new faces like Private Park, a young South Korean soldier who suddenly finds himself on the business end of a North Korean invasion. Dah, as well as familiar ones like Captain Price, who honestly seems like he might have gone off the rails a little bit, or maybe everyone else has. Naturally, the showstoppping campaign is just a part of the package here, cuz not only do you have a range of classic multiplayer modes to enjoy, as well as some shiny new ones. Hello, Kill Block. But there's also the brand new extraction shooter experience known as DMZ, which we will be breaking down our top tips for in next week's video. But how about this for an early tip? When things go sideways in the DMZ, sometimes you just have to unleash the beast. But fortunately, Monster is here to help. They've teamed up with Modern Warfare 4 to give you the chance to grab a load of in-game rewards, including operator skins, weapons, blueprints, and an extremely handy little double XP boost. All you have to do is grab a Monster Energy Call of Duty can, find the code under the tab, and then head to Call of Duty.mmonster Energy.com to redeem it. Next up, Grav Hounds comes straight to Xbox Game Pass in early access form on November 2nd. Now, this co-op shooter stars a crew that are known for their dogged determination. They're at their best when things are a bit rough. They're Look, you get it. They're dogs. These are dog puns. Just let's move on. Now, the goal here is to drop down onto a hostile planet along with the rest of your pack and begin setting up a base. Defend your turf using all sorts of high-tech weaponry, including some very fun gravity warping gizmos, and then just get the heck out of there. Sticking around longer does mean greater rewards, but also a bit more danger. So, it's exactly the sort of riskreward balance that we've been loving in Modern Warfare's DMZ mode, Eday's Horde Siege, and also games like Marathon. After spending a little while chilling in early access form on PC, the full version of Void Breaker is coming to Xbox consoles as well and to Xbox Game Pass on November 4th. This rogike bullet hell FPS doesn't go in for the whole less is more malarkey because you're going to have a functionally infinite number of different weapons to work with thanks to the game's gun modding system with all sorts of powerful synergies to experiment with which is good because you'll be up against a functionally endless army of evil robots all led by a sinister AI. Now the action here is fast and fluid with a major emphasis on using environmental destruction to your advantage. So, if you've been honing your control demolition skills in games like the finals, or maybe just really like knocking walls over on top of people, well, Void Breaker might be for you. The 10th of November is a bit of an odd time for a new signing, but you know what? When it's Football Manager 27, and when it's coming day one to Xbox Game Pass on PC and console, who am I to complain? It's no secret that Football Management Sims have gotten a whole lot more complicated over the years, allowing you to get really granular over every aspect of your scouting, tactical instructions, transfer negotiations, press relations, and about 100 other things. I mean, it's a whole lot of info, which is why Football Manager 27 has re-engineered its UI to make things much easier and more intuitive to navigate. A menu bar at the top of the screen ensures that you're only ever a click away from vital everyday stuff like your squad and tactics menus, while other little changes like the ability to act directly on the messages you receive just kind of smooths out the whole process. And you can start tinkering with these new tactical tools a week early because Football Manager 2027 is doing a launch preview that lets everybody play for free for 5 days starting on October 29th. Now, if only you could find a decent left- footed center half and convince that winger to stop complaining about his minutes [music] mug. Now, if Vampire Survivors and Warhammer had a baby, wait. Oh, gross. Um, if if someone decided to make a Vampire Survivor style game set in the Warhammer universe, then you'd get Warhammer Survivors. Yeah. Yeah, that's better. This bullet hell survival game gives you over 40 iconic characters to play as, plus over 75 weapons, including all the chains and bolt guns you could ask for. I mean, between this and Eay, I think it really is a great time for unconventional chainsaw-based weaponry enthusiasts. Take on an endless horde of horrors, then die, then unlock some cool new stuff and take on the horde again. It's the game loop you know and love, but in Warhammerry form, and it's coming day one to Xbox Game Pass on November 10th. Oh, and we've got yet another game coming day one to Xbox Game Pass on November 11th, Thronefall. This delightfully minimalistic strategy game tasks you with building a kingdom by day and then defending it by night. There's lots to do from building up your economy and fortifying your castle to researching upgrades and recruiting soldiers, but it all feels just a bit more manageable than some of your more sprawling RTS games. So, if you like the look of the genre, but maybe you're a bit intimidated by games like Age of Empires and the like, well, Thronefall could be the ideal starting point for you. It's just a shame they couldn't get Adele to redo her James Bond theme song for it. I don't know, it just feels like a missed opportunity. Now, if all these more serious games have you feeling a little bit cynical, well, Hela of Mice and Magic could be the perfect pallet cleanser. Coming day one to Xbox Game Pass on December 1st, this game takes place in a huge open world. or at least it feels huge to our mousy hero. Now, it's up to you to restore balance to the place, one little act of kindness at a time. And to do so, you'll need to solve environmental puzzles, craft potions, and get to know all the other animals that you meet. All of which you can do in co-op with your friends, just in case things weren't already feeling wholesome enough. Now, there was a time when the very idea of a JRPG made by a French studio would have been enough to provoke all kinds of sacri. Not in this brave postclair obscure world of ours, which is very good news for Edge of Memories. Arriving on December 3rd, this one takes place in an anime style world that is truly stunning. Even with all that deathly corruption lying all over the place, it's up to you to save it. Working alongside your allies in fast-paced battles where queuing up combos and combining your party skills is the key. With its anime stylings and real-time combat, Edge of Memories is well worth a look for fans of the Tales games. And naturally, the whole thing is backed by a gorgeous soundtrack. But you could kind of just tell that already by looking at it, couldn't you? All right, slime lovers, get in line, cuz Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World will be here on December 3rd. The latest entry in the legendary turn-based monster catching RPG series stars a pair of rookie monster wranglers called Biana and Nerra. Plus an incredible range of imaginatively designed creatures. Yes, including a great many slimes. Now, not only can you capture and train up said monsters, but you can also synthesize them to make new, even more powerful ones. So, if you loved remixing your monsters in cassette beasts, well, this will be very much your speed. Now, with stronger monsters, you'll be able to explore even further to discover even wackier and more wonderful creatures. And perhaps one day, you'll even manage to snag yourself an emperor slime. Yeah, keep dreaming. Someone must have knocked over his hammock because Rayman is back in action on December 3rd. Rayman Legends Retold is a bold reimagining of our limbless pals beloved 2013 platformer. But not only does it feature a lush new 3D art style, it also offers a brand new story line, complete with a new villain to contend with, plus a whole bunch of new stages to play through, including some brand new musical ones. Oh, and on top of all that, Rayman Legends Retold also adds fully voiced cinematics into the mix. I mean, it's been over a decade, but hey, we're finally going to hear what Globox has to say about all this. On December 10th, it is time to dust off those plastic guitars and start warming up your strumming fingers because Stage Tour is about to pick up right where Rock Band and Guitar Hero left off. This rhythm-based game will let you and your friends shred your way through a soundtrack featuring everyone from Weezer to Paramore, a Lavine to Slipnot, Radio Head and the Rolling Stones to Smashmouth and the Black Eyed Peas. Now, Stage Store uses the same control system as the older Guitar Hero and Rockband games. So, the hours that you've put into building those skills and those calluses are sure to pay off. And while it does come with a snazzy new range of peripherals built specifically for Stage Tour, from guitars and drums and microphones, it's also aiming to be compatible with as many older models as possible. Plus, there's also a game pad mode inspired by the one in Fortnite Festival. And also, it's an Xbox Play Anywhere title as well. So, hey, everybody gets to jam. Sticking to the theme of unexpected musical comebacks, There are no ghosts at the Grand arrives into early access sometime this December. This truly unique game is part property renovation simulator, part paranormal investigation, and then just a whole lot of fun. You've got 30 days and 30 nights to restore an old hotel to its former glory, or a ghostly visitor is going to check you out for good. You'll be doing up bathrooms by day and hacking down phantoms at night. Combining the soothing firstp person handiwork of House Flipper with the chills and thrills of Phasmophobia. There are no ghosts at the Grand would be a truly one-of-a-kind game, even if it wasn't also a full-blown all singing, all dancing musical. But it is. All right, you fought with the Cog, the UNC, and Expedition 33. Now it's time to join the ranks of a truly illustrious unit, the Dumpster Gang. Coming day one to Xbox Game Pass this December, Dumpster Gang is a co-op sandbox game where you and up to three of your trash loving friends get to play as raccoons. Your goal is basically do all the classic raccoon things. You know, steal snacks, raid bins, outsmart exterminators, and generally just be a bit of a delightful little menace. After every mission, you'll get to return home and enjoy your spoils, including a range of hats that unlock unique abilities for your raccoon and make them look even more adorable. I mean, what else did you expect? And as a bit of a quick fire round, the idea Xbox showcase from October gave us dates to pay attention to as well. Arctic Eggs, a game about making omelettes in Dystopia, is available today. Plus, psychological horror drama Mouthwashing is coming to Series X and S and PC via Xbox Game Pass on October 29th. Plus, that's not keeping in mind the big one. The co-op adventure Shrek 2 Remastered is coming to Series X and S on November 10th and now with photo mode. Now, farming requires patience, even when you're using a futuristic mech suit, but over 2 years after it first hit early access, Lightyear Frontier will be ready for its full 1.0 launch on November 4th. Now, not only will that give players two new regions to stomp around in and probably fall over and then try and figure out how to get back up again, and also the ability to take to the skies, it'll also provide the epic conclusion to the game story. Path of Exile 2 is another game that's getting the full 1.0 launch treatment on December 11th, and [snorts] that means that you can sink your teeth into the final two acts of its campaign, check out the new Duelist class, and enjoy all sorts of quality of life improvements from its time in early access. But perhaps most importantly, it is now totally free to play, too. So, there you go. That's a wrap on 2026. Or is it? Who knows what other surprises might still sneak in before the year is out. So, why don't you get subscribed and ring that bell? You might just find out. Bye.
