Modern Warfare 4's DMZ is finally here. Today, we're taking an early look at everything new and what you need to know before deploying in Hajin for the first time. What if I told you one day earlier than release, you can actually play DMZ's new map, Hajin? Well, that's kind of what we're going to be doing. Actually, if you play through the campaign and at least get to the 10th mission, Stranded, it actually gives you an open world objective and you can check out a ton of the map or at least a little bit of the map outside of the map, which we'll kind of get into in a minute. But today, we're going to be diving in and checking out everything that we can learn to be prepared for what's to come in DMZ, especially since this may be part of what gets added later in DLC. But there's a lot that we can check out from looting, objectives, and so much more. So, let's get right into it. Off rip, you can see that we've got an over view from a big tower. Now, where you actually start on this mission is down in here. And we'll get to that in just a moment. But, I wanted you to see that this is how beautiful the map is going to be. And it's probably going to look even better once we dive in because this, like I said, is just a little bit to the right. But you can see immediately if I kind of ADS with this large pink sight. Uh let's actually sorry I'm going to switch over. No. All right. Uh hold on. Hold on. There there's a lot going on. So offer rip. We'll actually go ahead and uh look at the map right here. Now just to kind of understand how this works. Off to the left right here. You can see it gets a little bit pixelated and that's because this is where it connects to the Hajin map. So, this may again be a little DL DLC that gets added in just like how we're going to be getting Russia in season one. Season 1, two, season 1 or two. Uh, so there's a lot to come already, but you can see we've got our base camp right here. You can see we've got a vehicle right here that we could grab. There's some armed patrol right here. We've got a uh a mention in a little area that we can go check out. It looks like maybe like an airport or an airfield. We have a SAM site up here. We've got some more armed patrols, a jamming station up here. here. So, what we're going to be doing is kind of testing out the waters and seeing what it's actually like to play inside DMZ. I will say the parachute pulls a little bit differently. Uh, so I have not checked this out at all. I wanted the opportunity to dive in with you and see it all for myself with you and and get the excitement of checking it out. So, let's go ahead and open this hatch. We will go down in here because this is what it's going to be like to go to your own FOB. However, this will obviously be kind of a a smaller version of it. Big announcement. I'm doing a live stream for DMZ's early access release on the 20th of October. I would love to see you there because things are going to be crazy. There's going to be Modern Warfare 4 giveaways and some massive announcements on new controllers dropping. Make sure you're subscribed with notifications because you don't want to miss it. So, you can see that you've got a station to kind of get ammo, repair certain weapons. So, you're going to be able to kind of upgrade weapons while you're inside of the FOB. And again, this isn't even as cool as it's going to get. So you you you will see that I actually have my players um showing up in in blue. This is something you can do for the campaign. If you go over to your interface and go to your uh high contrast mode, I'll turn that off for now just so you guys can see without that. But you can see there's so much going on. Lots of players in here. Well, in this case, uh we'll call them AI or you know, people from the the missions. But there's lots of little things you can kind of check out. You can grab, say, this weapon off the wall, which seems to have taken my other weapon, but that's fine. You can grab the PPSH off the wall. Now, in this case, you're going to kind of be trying to build stuff as well, so you can make syntax, but a lot of this stuff Oh, look at this. I made a syntax, but a lot of this stuff is going to be a little bit different inside the FOB because you're going to have different stations that are dedicated to this. This is kind of a makeshift FOB, if you will. So, keep that in mind. And it's not going to be perfectly the same, but it is going to be similar. So, you can see we can uh we can throw some syntaxes in the backpack. We got this Moss and Nant if we wanted it. Uh, and then we have the Casab 762. We have the Type 73. Lots of options for weapons inside of here. And of course, if you've unlocked weapons in DMZ or outside of DMZ, you will be able to attach those to your loadout at a cost to you inside of DMZ. And by the way, if you're wondering, I actually am going to be doing a beginner's guide, but I have a ton of information on DMZ over on my website, expel.gg, and you can go to expel.gg/dmz if you want to learn a ton about it. But if you need a little little rundown before tomorrow, that's going to be the place to do it. Regardless, I just wanted to show you kind of the makeshift FOB that they set up inside because their goal obviously with this was to kind of get a taste for DMZ. So, let's go ahead and run out and we'll check out this massive open world. It is truly incredible. The foliage looks beautiful. The like running water, a stream through here. I think if they keep with this for DMZ, it's going to be truly incredible. There was also a Mr. Beast video that dropped as of today and it looks so good. So, I wanted to go ahead and show you. You can kind of drive different vehicles in this. You're going to have a ton of different vehicle options. Uh this you actually read the note and it tells you, hey, if you want to hop in here, you can use one of the old previous codes. And in this case, it says O6, 012, um and then 08. So assuming this would have been O24. And that's how I got in here. So you can gather the intel uh and then you can see on your TAC map all the stuff that pops up here. So we've got different little like puzzle supply crates uh all over the map here. We've got different places mentioned in notes all over the map here at the jamming station. Again, very cool. But what we'll do is I wanted to show you one thing that's going to actually have a lot going on in DMZ, which is parkour. Believe it or not, they made it very prevalent. And it's going to come down to stuff like this, climbing towers, trying to get to specific areas around the map. And so what it'll look like is you get up to here, and it's like, "Oh, where do I go?" But what you'll do is you'll jump right here. Then you can see you can jump right there. Move to the left. Jump right here. Go up. And then where do I go from here? So, can I jump there? No. Can I jump here? Yes. Perfect. Got it. And then I think we can Oh no. We fell down. That's unfortunate. How do I do this? So, we jump up. We move to the left. Jump there. Is there a dog down below me? Did I just hear a dog? Jump up again. Where do I jump from here? Is it Am I supposed to Oh, you can jump right there. Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Jump there. Jump up. Jump up. Jump there. And then we're all the way up. And you can see you've got some duffel bags here with supplies in it. You'll pick up the note. Says, "Someone may have uh Sorry, I'll get rid of my camera. Someone may have discovered our stash below the water treatment plant to the southwest. Check and report back. Check village to the south. They probably left something behind when they were relocated. So, there's going to be all kinds of stuff like this inside DMZ as well. That's why I kind of love going through and checking out some of the stuff inside of the campaign because there's always going to be hints to what's coming in multiplayer, in War Zone, in DMZ, stuff like that every single time there's a new campaign. So, let's check out the supplies that we uh that we got. You can go into your backpack. This is what your backpack's going to look like. It's on the bottom right. When you loot people, it'll be on the top left. But you can see we've got some throwing knives, flash grenades, C4s, proximity mines. Um, more proximity mines. You can see we've got the Vulcan sniper rifle, which I don't love the scope on. So, maybe we'll look into getting that changed at some point. The uh the bottle, which I think is Oh, wait. It says breaks on impact with Oh, with the ground creating a sound that causes nearby hostiles to investigate. That's very cool. We've got a thermite. We've got a PPSH. And then, of course, if you want to stop swap something out, it's just going to be one press. So, it throws it right there. here. The thing I don't really like is that it does close your inventory pretty much immediately, which kind of sucks. So, we'll take the the other supplies, and it looks like those supplies add to your uh your little tokens that you have available to you. You can see in the top right, we do have multiple notes, which I'll go ahead and show you. You can kind of bump through right here, and you can see all the different notes that we've collected. Uh, but let's go ahead and get out of our inventory. And what I wanted to do is I was wondering there is a way to go up farther. So, we can do this and then jump here. So, you can go up even farther here, which is kind of crazy. Then we're up there. Jump to here. Advance up. Jump back this way. Jump to the right. Jump up. Advance up again. And then jump here. And we're all the way at the top. And we have a yellow supply crate. So, let's go ahead and pick up this note. It says top of the radio tower note. House north of rice patties not secure. Take this key, move everything to age house inside the north. So, pretty cool things coming on here. And again, stuff like this is going to be in DMZ. We'll grab the supplies. It pushed us from 9 to 11. We'll check this out. We've got a supply crate or supply cash and it has a scout drone inside. So, we'll be able to throw maybe a scout drone. You can see right here we do have some hostiles in the area. So, we're going to have to be careful. There is a dog. I really don't want to kill the dog. I really with everything in me I do not I don't want to kill the dog. Please don't make me. Uh but we will try and dodge that for the sake of our our mental health. But I wonder if I take this. Oh what? So it just moves. It's it's just moving around on its own. So is it there? Can I see it moving? Where is this? It's off to my right. Where is it? I don't think I can see it, man. How interesting. Okay, so let's go ahead and get moving. Let's kind of check out a lot of the the map. It looks like you float and fall pretty fast inside of this. Oh my gosh, this is so cool. The map is just beautiful. I wonder how this is going to play on the uh the Xbox Series S and X and then the PS5 and PS5 Pro. I'm just kind of curious as to how it's going to go. And I I will say I am using boots on my character. Um Oh, look at that. Another note. We got molotovs. We got more supplies which we'll go ahead and pick up. Let's get out of here. So, there's going to be lots of little places that you can loot. Oh, enemy nearby. I think I have a suppressor on this sniper. I am in a ghillie outfit and I don't think Can I tag anything? Okay.
