It is time, as always,
for Rockstar news Nate The Hate, who is a
popular insider, has reported that review copies of GTA 6 are expected
to go out before the end of the month This is earlier than usual, and could
be because the game is so massive that Rockstar wants to give reviewers as much time as possible to experience it
before publishing their reviews Either that, or it's like the game
has already leaked 75 different times that the security concerns
are probably less relevant now Who would they be sending
review copies to? I assume like the normal big
companies, like your IGNs? Would they send it to like review
channels like Skill Up? [Reading chat]
Me? Like I'm not
a game reviewer Like, I'm not sure why they would send it
specifically to GTA content creators Obviously it'd be hugely advantageous
for my content if I got it first I could map out all
the speedrun routes, but then again, I would want to share
my first experience with chat Ideally, it'd be annoying, like,
you know, to be off stream for a month, playing the game and not being able
to share that with people [Reading chat]
I think they would also want YouTubers
to stream at all the same time though Would pull huge numbers Yeah, so that's why I'm asking
who they would send it to It’d have to be
specifically like non GTA content creators who also review
all new games that come out You know? GTA 6 marketing has
now entered full swing in Miami, with advertisements
appearing all across the city A 9-Nine nightclub banner and the Vice City
blimp is being flown above Miami Beach You can't fool me!
This is just a picture of GTA 6 What is this bamboozling? I got the money shot
Amazing! And Vice City beach chairs and umbrellas
have started to appear on the sand Oh my God! Beach chairs! What amazing marketing! I often say that I would never buy
a game unless there is beach chairs associated with that game So good thing I can now
buy GTA 6 There are also new
bus ad-liveries We got the GTA 6 bus
before GTA six Multiple murals!
Vice What's it made of though? Like these are all different
images and stuff? Maybe it's not completed yet
because some parts aren't colored I don't know!
Interesting though And these murals are being
painted in Wynwood? Oh, is this in the art
exhibition thing? I think it might be, like I've been
in here before, when I was in Miami Like, is that Lucia?
Who are these chicks meant to be Interesting, though
Looks very cool And GTA 6 is being
advertised in Times Square More appearing every day It's coming out November 19th
guys if you didn’t know Rockstar, just like we will
GTA 6 the world! A fair strategy The GTA 6 marketing push in Miami
keeps growing with real life versions of vehicles
from the game now cruising the city streets, complete
with Leonida license plates I mean, that's pretty crazy As I say, there were
already really sick cars in Miami, and especially on
certain streets and stuff where they have, like they have events
where they shot people's cars Wait was that like an
actual police car? Like, I wonder if they gave cool
police cars to the police Like here, Vice Beach police That's not an actual police car
that the Americans have, is it? [Reading chat]
No? Okay I mean its America
so you never know but... Wynwood Art District? See, I can't tell if this is just a car
that an American police would have or not Oh, that's a car we've seen
in some of the marketing material Very Vice city colors These cars look sick Yeah I guess the first
one is an actual cop and this one is not These are the same cars I mean, it's good marketing rep,
people will take footage of it and they're like, “oh, saw these
f*cking sick cars and stuff man” [Reading chat]
It's been all over your feed?
Yeah, exactly smart move Because a lot of the marketing
they're doing is in the specific area of Miami, which means their
marketing isn't global But because of the nature of social media,
anything done, even in a localized area, becomes global right?
Taking advantage of the more modern media ecosystem that didn't exist
back when GTA 5 was a thing Oh well, it did exist to a degree,
more in its infancy when GTA 5 released A schedule has surfaced for the Vice City
blimp that has been circling Miami, it will visit Hard Rock station,
then head to Homestead-Miami Speedway for Race Car Championship weekend,
and finally make its way to the Kaseya Center Looks very cool! I gotta say though
Where's the observatory? Where's Davey?
Dude needs a lift, to Miami Jason Schreier, the journalist who reported
on the development of GTA 6 recently has said in a new
Bloomberg newsletter that Rob Nelson, Rockstar's
head of development, told him there are hundreds of interiors to explore
in Leonida, which is not surprising I mean, this is something that's been said
eons ago, like the constant speculation of- or the rumors that, there is going
to be a lot more interiors in GTA 6 that you can explore than in GTA 5 And we always were like,
“is that going to be that good?” As long as the interiors are
actually interesting and useful? That's what matters The example
I always give is Banjo-Kazooie The original Banjo-Kazooie
on N64 was not a huge game in terms of like the actual areas,
if you combine them all together, the physical space But every single inch of that
game had some value, had some meaning, was important, and
so it felt like the biggest thing ever When you get to like Banjo Kazooie 3 or whatever
it was called, the game is huge and complete garbage,
because it had a lot more space Just having more of something doesn't
necessarily make things better Just having more players to explore
doesn't necessarily make things better Has to be like worth it
to explore those places And given the way that they've described the game,
where just random events can happen or you can just spur of the moment
decide to rob a place, that's probably what a lot of the
interiors are going to be, right? Places that you can just rob
if you want to for funsies Like, imagine there's just
like an office building that you can go inside of
and point your gun and be like, “give me all your wallets”,
you know, surely? [Reading chat]
“Give us all your ram!” “Rip it out of your PCs!” In GTA 6’s launch trailer, Jason can be
seen wearing a military shirt that mentions the North Fort
Law military base from GTA 1 It is actually the first military
base ever in the GTA series That’s very interesting,
GTA Wiki you get a like there Because I sure as hell
would not know that Can't say I know that
much about GTA 1 I expect most people don't
know much about it either Surely that's just going to be like a reference
or something rather than, you know, you needing to know the lore of GTA 1
to really understand Jason's backstory There is new official artwork
of Justice The duo composing the GTA 6
soundtrack, which includes the song we heard in the launch trailer Of course, they made the
song Flower In A Hurricane It sounded awesome, and this is
a baller looking image Rockstar provided
this to IGN Man, imagine having Rockstar themselves
make an image like this of you It'd be so funny if they were like,
aware enough of Rockstar to be like, “look, as a part of this contract
a deal, us being involved in the game” “You got to make us image like this,
okay? Want to put it on my wall!” Yeah you would definitely frame that
and put it in your house somewhere GTA 6 will officially be eligible
to compete at the Game Awards this year, as the cutoff date
has been confirmed to be November 20th Seriously? What is the cutoff
date for eligibility? Games must be made commercially
available to customers on or before Friday, November 20th, 2026 at 9 PM Now, the question is, was this
cut off designed to allow for GTA 6 to pass, or was Rockstar
aware of this cutoff period? And they were like, “look, you know,
we wanted it to come out in November” We may as well get it
just before the cutoff [Reading chat]
Could be either, right?
Last year it was November 21st This is nothing new Then maybe it was Rockstar
being aware of it 2025 the cutoff was 21st
and 2024 the cutoff was 22nd Okay, so maybe Rockstar chose the 19th
so they could make this cutoff, but it also could just
be coincidence With that being said, if your goal is to win
one of these awards, I guess you'd want to just barely
make the cut to be involved because it would be the most
fresh in people's minds The alternative to this is it wouldn't make the cut off,
and it would be like a day after, and so then they'd have to wait an entire
year for it to eventually get some recognition Which would not be good for marketing
and would hurt its chances of winning Although it is GTA 6 so
it’ll probably still win Rockstar clearly wants
to win all those awards, so people are like,
“GTA 6 best game ever” “All the awards! Yay!” [Reading chat]
They gave up on awards after
Red Dead Redemption 2 lost? At the time,
that was really funny I'm sorry God of War winning... At the time I wasn't super enthused
about Red Dead Redemption 2 and I was just like,
“yeah, you go God of War!” I mean, God of War was
an insanely good game Like it was impressively good But like, in hindsight,
in terms of experience, like the actual experience
that sticks with you Red Dead Redemption 2 clearly
does so more than God of War The gameplay of God of War though,
was really cool and kind of took the the game of God of War in a very
interesting new direction, right? Thats stuck around
for now multiple games, like I can't think of another
game where I'm like yeah okay, maybe it is better
than Red Dead Redemption 2, but I don’t know I still- I still kind
of wish Red Dead Redemption 2 won, at this point GTA 6 has now officially been rated
worldwide across all major markets, receiving an M mature 17+
plus from the ESRB in the United States, PEGI 18 in
Europe and the United Kingdom USK 18 in Germany,
18+ in Japan R18+ in Australia,
19+ in South Korea, 18 in Brazil, and 21+ in Saudi Arabia
and the United Arab Emirates I mean, GTA 5 was actually
banned in Saudi Arabia And maybe in other
Middle Eastern countries? Until actually like within
the last year or something Maybe they did that preemptively
before GTA 6 right? [Reading chat]
19 in South Korea is 18 anyway?
Yeah, because I've heard that right They- they track age
differently or something? A different calendar
or something? They start at one Yeah! When you're born
you're one rather than zero How did they manage to get
mature 17+ in the United States? Surely they just have
pull there or something because all the other countries
like, are, you know, 18+ But America's like “ah 17”
Not that one year is likely, that, big of a difference
I'm not sure but [Chat TTS]
The only thing above mature is
adults only, which is for explicit depictions of sex, extreme
violence, and real gambling Games with this rating are also
not allowed to be streamed on Twitch That's not true!
Huh maybe it is true I thought that they had
to be explicitly banned Oh, that's so weird So it’s just mature 17+
and then adults only So the difference of one year
is that significant? Can't be sold in physical stores,
can't be livestreamed? What the hell? What a crazy rating system It's like country wide acceptance
with one year of difference I had no idea, and I thought
Australia’s rating system was crazy Yeah, so I guess- I guess given
how successful GTA 6 is going to be and how important it's going to be
for like the American economy in general and certainly Miami, their economy,
there would have been some back and forth on stuff to get it
down to a mature 17+ then I suppose Either that or
just direct bribes Like “hey man, you uhh... ever wanted
to be an NPC in a Grand Theft Auto game?” “Like, we can make that happen
You can be in the Strip Club” Even more important GTA 6 news I'm doing another GTA 6 giveaway
DarkViperAU’s 6767 USD GTA 6 giveaway That is to say 6,767 USD The two most important events in
the history of mankind are happening soon Those being the release of GTA 6, and
my getting married to the love of my life Obviously one of those
is far more important than the other and we both know which
that is, right? But both are still a big deal as thanks to the universe for my good
fortune, I'm giving six lucky winners some money Five will get $1,128,
and one will get $1,127, for a total giveaway of
$6,767 I had to debate what I would do because
you can't evenly break this by six So either everyone was going
to get like some cents or... I could just give one person $1 less
and that's what I ended up doing The idea is that every winner
should have enough to buy themselves the PlayStation 5 Pro
and a copy of GTA 6 The giveaway is actually ending pretty-
basically when GTA 6 is releasing So like the person should have enough time to buy one if there's
one in stock or whatever, you know? Continuing, finally, of course, if you win,
you can spend the money on whatever you want The console and game
are just a suggestion Best of luck!
Note! This giveaway is not affiliated
with Rockstar, Sony, Take-Two, Microsoft, Discord, Nintendo, Valve, Epic Games, EA,
Ubisoft, Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, Sega, Capcom, Square Enix,
Bandai Namco, CD Projekt Red, Konami, Riot Games,
Supercell, Mojang, Roblox, Atari, or anyone else in the gaming
industry or any hacker group Just to be clear, and of course,
here's me hanging out with Jason, you know, as you do [Reading chat]
So it's affiliated with Kojima?
Of course! Obviously, me and him,
you know we go way back
